Meet Simon, a multi-skilled software systems developer with close to 30 years of experience on numerous platforms and languages, successfully identifying and analysing customer requirements, designing and producing creative solutions to complex problems.
Beginning his software life in the late 1980’s as a railway signal and control systems engineer with London Underground (now TfL) and moving to developing code for digital satellite and cable set-top boxes with Pace in the UK and, later, Irdeto in South Africa, Simon has shown an immense flexibility and ability to learn new skills across the globe.
With 10 years as a finance broker managing $125m of lending to home and investment property borrowers in Australia, Simon has a consummate ability to connect with his clients face-to-face, forming excellent relationships with a deep understanding of their needs and requirements,
As a software consultant working under the brand of Astra Digital Media and primarily with finance professionals since 2015, Simon has embedded himself with several high profile clients.
